My attachment is too large
TACENZA Mail attachments can be up to 50 MB per file. What the too-big message means, and how to send larger files another way.
Each file you attach in TACENZA Mail can be up to 50 MB. If a file is larger, it’s marked “Too big. The limit is 50 MB.” in the message you’re writing, and it isn’t uploaded.
Remove the file, then choose one of these:
- Make it smaller. Compress it into a zip file, lower the resolution of photos or videos, or export a document as a smaller PDF.
- Split it. Send several smaller files in separate messages.
- Send it another way. For example, share it with TACENZA Chat, where attachments are end-to-end encrypted and can be up to 25 MB on Free, 100 MB on Plus and 500 MB on Pro.
“Remove the files that failed before sending.”
A message won’t send while it has a file that failed to upload. Remove the file marked as failed, then send again – or attach it again if it failed for another reason, such as a lost connection.
The other person didn’t get it
Even when TACENZA Mail accepts an attachment, the recipient’s mail service may refuse messages that large. If a message bounces, try a smaller file.
