I can't sign up for TACENZA Mail
TACENZA Mail is still in development and sign-up isn't open yet. What that means, and why your TACENZA Chat account doesn't work in Mail.
You can’t sign up yet. TACENZA Mail is in development: sign-up is built, but not open to everyone. For now we use Mail for our own domains, to make sure it’s reliable before others depend on it. When sign-up is closed, the Mail sign-in page has no option to create an account.
There’s no date for opening yet.
Why your Chat account doesn’t work in Mail
TACENZA Chat and TACENZA Mail are separate services with separate accounts. Your Chat username and password don’t sign you in to Mail, and a Chat account doesn’t come with a Mail address.
If you already have a Mail account
Some people have Mail accounts already – for example because their company uses it and an admin added them.
- Sign in with your email address and your password at mail.tacenza.app. If you see “Wrong email address or password.”, check both – passwords are case-sensitive.
- Forgot your password? If your account was set up by your company, ask your company’s admin: they can reset it in Team settings. A reset turns off two-factor sign-in and removes your app passwords.
- Encryption on? A password reset doesn’t open mail stored with encryption. Your recovery key does. Without it, that mail can’t be opened – by anyone, including us.
- “Too many attempts. Wait 15 minutes and try again.” Too many wrong passwords lock the web app for 15 minutes. Mail apps on your phone or computer aren’t affected.
What Mail can’t do yet
We’d rather tell you now than let you find out later:
- Drafts don’t save as you type, and there’s no calendar or contacts yet.
- Search can’t look inside the text of encrypted mail, only its sender, recipients and subject.
- There are no paid plans and no support desk for Mail yet.
