Where are my message requests?
With message requests on, chats from people you haven't written to wait in a separate folder in TACENZA Chat. How to find, accept, block or delete them.
Look at the top of your chat list for Message requests with a number next to it. Open it to see chats from people you haven’t written to yet.
For each request you can:
- Accept – the chat moves to your normal list, and they become someone you know.
- Block – their messages are hidden and the chat disappears from your list. See How do I block someone?
- Delete chat – deletes the chat and its messages for both of you.
The sender can’t tell whether you’ve read their messages until you reply.
Turn message requests on or off
Go to Settings › Privacy Center and switch Message requests on or off. It’s off unless you turn it on.
- On: a 1:1 chat from someone you haven’t written to or accepted waits in the requests folder.
- Off: every chat appears in your normal list.
Writing to someone yourself counts as accepting them, so their replies never land in requests.
If you can’t find a message
- Message requests is off. Then there’s no folder – look in your normal chat list, and in Archived.
- You blocked them earlier. Check Settings › Privacy Center › Blocked users and choose Unblock.
- It was a group invitation, not a message. Groups aren’t message requests. If you set Who can add me to groups to Nobody – only invite links, people have to send you an invite link instead.
Blocking or deleting an unwanted request also lowers that sender’s sending limits for a while. It helps slow down spam, without TACENZA reading anything.
